I'm looking to purchase a used Hoyt bow (an older Double XL, a Carbon Defiant 34 or a Nitrum 34) with a 34 inch ATA . Age is not on my side with strength retention and I need to drop to 40 to 50 pound limbs from my current 50 to 60 pound limbs. Most challenging is my short draw length of 26.5 inches. I know the new RX4 has everything I seek but with a minimum 27inch draw length, which may stretch me out too much for comfort.

I know I may be looking for a unicorn, but I'd appreciate a PM if you are willing to part with a very good condition bow with these specifications.

I totally understand the difficulty in trying to find that unicorn. I recently custom ordered the 40 to 50# limbs to go on a Carbon Defiant I bought gently used with 60# limbs. Hoyt will still make the limbs to order even on discontinued bows. They cost around $270 if I remember right. A little spendy but otherwise I may have spent an eternity searching for a good Carbon Defiant in a short draw length and low poundage.
