This rifle started life out as a Howa Kuiu (same barreled action as the Alpine except a black bolt vs. a cerakoted bolt). I sold that stock and found a genuine Howa Alpine (Bansner) stock here from another member. Those stocks are really hard to find. The previous owner had opened the barrel channel up for a different project, so with this thin barrel there is a bit of a gap. It's purely cosmetic and you don't notice it that much in the real world, but I wanted to be up front about it. The stock has a very nice bedding job.
I modified the plastic DBM to fit flush, and will include it with the rifle. Currently, the rifle has the hinged floorplate setup and that will stay with the rifle. With the hinged metal floorplate, the rifle weighs 6 lbs. 2 oz. bare. With the plastic DBM setup, it's only 5 lbs. 13 oz. bare.
I am including the Talley rings with the rifle. The scope is not for sale.
These rifles sold for $1K and there are two of them at my nearby small town gun store for $1K and $1200 still.
