I just got this Howa 1500 Long action rifle. The rifle was NOS (New Old Stock) and certainly appeared New in the Box. It has a very nice Monte Carlo wood stock. Grip is more vertical than most wood stocks as well. It is in perfect condition if anyone is interested. I am just not a wood stock person. $200
My understanding is that it will fit a Weatherby Vanguard as well.
