As stated in the title, I am trying to develop a load for my Howa 1500 HS 1/10" twist. Intended use is for deer and elk. Projectiles on hand are 150 gr Sierra SPBT Gameking, Hornady Interlock, Hornady GMX, Speer Hot-Cor. Have some 165 Hornady SST bullets on order.
What have you guys found to perform well in this rifle? It shot 168 gr AMAX under an MOA so I'm assuming it is going to prefer something heavier than 150 gr.
