How to delete a thread

When I delete a thread, it will ask if I want a soft delete or just delete(this is for the classified section). I don't see a soft delete option so I just hit delete thread. What do you do?

Same...I think. I usually just click on "edit this post" and then delete.

So, I click "Edit this Post" and it will allow me to delete a comment to a thread. However, If I started the thread, there is no delete box to click to remove the thread. Ideas? Trying to delete some classified posts of stuff that sold. Thanks...

On the top of your original post there's an "Administrative" tab. Click it and it gives the option to delete. That's how I do it.

Northernpiker, no clue about the soft or hard delete. I just hard delete after I know the buyer has the goods.

I see it. Ok, I was able to delete the stuff. It seems you can't delete threads in other forums, just the classifieds? Thanks for the help mrbillbrown!
