The only reference I would have that some of you might know would be the Mtn Ops grid fleece and Eddie Bauer grid fleece. So compared to them how thick are the Kuiu's?

Thanks

The 280 and 260 use the same thicker fleece. The 260 has more lighter material for breathability.

I got the 280 for Christmas and it doesn't quite fit in my system since I have a 200 I love. Compared to the 200 the 280 is loftier but not significantly so.

I don't have a 200 besides the 200 merino to compare. Compared the light grid fleece are they twice as thick?
Maybe 2x thicker than light grid fleece but that doesn't necessarily equal 2x as warm though. It's overall a very nice peice. What exactly do you intend to use it for?

The 260 feels about the same thickness wise as a fanatic hoody or a light weight sweatshirt. It is thinner than a heavy sweatshirt and less bulky than that.

The 260 is quite warm for its thickness. I can layer under it with a base and easily fit a soft shell jacket over top. The face fabric does not grab at other layers like some other fabrics can.

Mid layer for sitting on stand. Also, just to wear as a warm indoor sweater type in the winter.
