How likely to come back?

How likely is it elk will come back to a spot they were at prior to muzzleloader season? Saw and heard them there during early archery, then didn’t go out during muzzleloader but went out Saturday and nothing. plan to go back this weekend. So about 1.5 weeks between seeing them there and going back out just seeing if they are creatures of habit as it’s only my 2nd year out chasing them.
