Hi, I’m trying to apply for a scholarship outh antlerles elk hunt in Washington state. I’ve always gotten otc and depredation deer tags so have never done the “lottery” tag system. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t know exactly, I haven’t applied for a tag in Washington in years, but 1st step is to buy an elk tag that aligns with your chosen side of the state and weapon choice, buy your controlled hunt application, then make sure you go online and submit your choices

This is where you start: https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/login. You'll need to set up an account/login. You buy your license as said earlier, choose your weapon and side of state to hunt. You can start applying for special hunts which include cow permits usually in early April to Mid May. Drawing is usually mid June sometime. PM me with any questions, glad to help.
