Hornady eCX in 30-30win

I just got some 150 gr eCX .308 bullets from Midway. Initially was going to load them for practice in a Friend's 308 win but after seeing the low BC I may not. But then I thought why not try them in my 30-30. With the flat point, they should work in the magazine. Anyone else try that combo?
