I’m continuing to hunt for a pair of cold weather tree stand boots that will work for me and plan to try the Hoffman Mountaineers next.
I called and visited with them on sizing but I’m all over the place in shoe sizes and they weren’t quite sure which way to tell me to go. I’m hoping some of the folks here can help me out.
I am sending back two pairs of 1200g Danner Pronghorns, a 12 wide that wasn’t close to working and a 13 wide that almost worked but put just a little pressure on my left little toe. I suspect the 13 just has a weird spot in the left boot as it’s my right foot that is always tight and it fit fairly well. For reference I have a pair of 11.5 wide Danner Recurve Moc Toes that I like.
I have Salewa Ultra Flex mid in 13 that are great and Asolo Reston in 12 that are too tight. I wear an 11EE in cowboy boots and have a Red Wing Iron Rangers in 11 that fit great. I have Lacrosse Alpha Lites in 12 that fit good but get cold below 35*.
What would you recommend on sizing? I’m stuck between 12 and 13.
