It weighs 4lbs. If you separate the poles from the tent, the tent itself will pack smaller than your sleeping back and the poles can be strapped to the outside of your pack or in an exterior pocket. I run a Kifaru hoodlum and I put the poles in one of the spotter pockets and the tent inside the main bag
