Hiking/hunting boots

The boots would be for Texas hog hunts a spot and stalk hunt about 13,000 acres so I need some good lightweight breathable short boots any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I have a pair of Solomon X Ultra Mid GTX's that are fantastic. They're one pound each and have thin soles that really allow you to feel the ground and walk quietly. Because of this though they would not make the best heavy backpacking boot but work great for me out in the desert.

My early season warm weather boot of choice is the Lowa Zephyr. Going into the third year with the pair I have and really like them.

Merrell MOAB vented are my summer boot of choice. Lightweight, comfortable & great in thee heat.
