When I get to my computer I will post my initial thoughts of the bow.

Eyeballed it and had a bullet hole on second shot.

I wanted to fling a few more arrows before I posted my initial thoughts....and I just got back from doing that:)

Here's what my specs and set-up look like:

New Breed Eclipse in Kryptek Highlander (Mass Weight of the bow was just under 4lbs)

28.5@81 lbs

Hanskea Versa Rest Full Capture

BStinger stabilizer with Offset bracket

Gold Tip Kinetic 200's

125 grain points

VaneTech 2.8 swift vanes (4 fletch)

Hamskea Drop Tine Release

You can see in the photos that I ended up shooting 287FPS with a 526 grain arrow, so the KE and momentum should be plenty:)

The biggest thing that stuck out about the bow was how easy it tuned; I pretty much eyeballed everything and got a bullet hole in my first two arrows, and for me, that's close to a miracle! I generally torque most bows, but the grip on the Eclipse is perfect for me (thin/narrow).

With the speed I was getting, the draw cycle was smoother than I anticipated (especially at 80 lbs) and I did not get the giant "drop off" you find with other models. The wall was also solid as a rock, but that's to be expected as the Eclipse has draw stop pegs and sponge at full draw is not possible.

So far, the bow shoots like a dream and holds just as good, but you always shoot a new bow better than an old one (no kidding on this). I went ahead an took some 80-100 yard shots with broadheads and field tips this morning and am still pleased.

I will post more as time goes on (heading to the range with Army Joe today), but I'm pretty excited about this bow so far!

Kyle and the crew at NBA are awesome. Kyle called me yesterday to discuss my bow as they are customizing my Eclipse and should be back next week. Their CS is top notch and they do a great job.

That looks sweet, the only other bow I seen dipped in highlander (bowtech of some kind I believe) didn't look too great. Pattern looked like it was stretched. That dip job looks like it was made for that bow.

Who did the Camo Aron? Also where do you get that offset bracket for the stabilizer from? How do you like the Hamske releases vs the carters you have used in the past?

Bad. Ass. Glad to see you gave New breed a try. Great bows. And they are the easiest bow to tune I've had, ever. And I'm a Hoyt guy and have had a ton of bows. Like the highlander, too I'm jealous!
