Right now I live in salem. But hopefully thats temporary. I want to end up in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming... eastern oregon would work too.

Ah come on, I was raised in NE.Oregon (Wallowa Valley), we don't have it so bad.
Saltwater fishing is just an hour away, mountains on all sides.
The Willamette Valley and Columbia Rvr is a Waterfowl Mecca.
Great bass & walleye fishing, sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, halibut, Tuna!
Great bear & cougar hunting, yeah I'll admit our deer & elk pops are hurting.
But all in all, we got it pretty good.
