Help: Spartan M-Lok and MT Tikka ARCA-Lite

I just picked up a Mountain Tacktical Tikka ARCA-Lite rail for my T3x and the Spartan Javelin M-Lok adapter for my bipod. The adapter doesn't quite want to fit and I don't want to force it on. Has anyone experienced machining issues in the past with these parts? I figured they are standard dimension and should just be plug and play fitment.
