Help in WY unit 9

Tomorrow will be my 14th full day hunting in wyoming. 3 30 hour round trip drives from tx. Still haven't got an elk. I have a general tag and would be stoked with a cow. I just need meat.

I have hunted sheep mountain, centennial Ridge and the squirrel creek burn by lake owen.

Anyone have any ideas for tomorrow and sunday? Not married to unit 9, I could go to any general unit nearby. I will also walk any distance.

I would even be willing to pay a trespass fee if anybody knows of a place I could shoot a cow.

Have you hunted the east/south side of Sheep Mtn.? Later in the season the elk like to move onto the private ranches to the north.

Mainly hunted south side of sheep mountain. May give the east/north a shot.

Well unfortunately I'd have to get a resident guide permit which wouldn't happen until Monday morning. The spot I'm fairly positive I could put you on elk is in a wilderness area.

Here it is. Was at the very first spot I hunted 2 weeks ago.

Took me 9.5 hours to clean and pack it out solo.

Driving back to TX.
