I’m in a pinch trying to set up a fierce fury. My Talley bases/ rings (low) are letting my scope touch the barrel, I’m a millimeter or two too low. Can anyone confirm if Remington 700 rings/bases fit a fierce fury action?
Thanks!

No they don’t. Spoke with Talley and got the part #. Can only get it from Talley themselves or opticplanet.

Can I ask which scope you’re trying to mount? I just got a fury myself and am trying to decide if I can get away with the low talleys or if I need to play it safe and go to a medium.

i have an older fury and i ended up using a warne remington 700 base to mount my rings. i still have the talley 2 piece rings that were supposed to fit the older ones but they didn't fit mine. best i can tell there were 2, maybe 3 different mounts. screw size is the most obvious.

I previously had a swaro z5 with a 52mm objective, (1in tube) low Talley rings on Talley bases worked.
I was trying to mount an Athlon Ares BTR 2.5-15x50. I was using the low one piece Talley rings. A medium would be perfect for that scope.

Appreciate it!

I too just purchased a Fierce Rifle, I called Fierce only to realize there are only two options for bases for their rifles.

You can also get a full rail from Murphy precision and then use whatever rings you want. My brother in law and I both have Fierce CT edges in 300 Win Mag. He originally got the Tally rings and bases and they slipped using the factory recommended specs and he talked to Fierce and they said they torque them way down. We both ended up with Titanium Murphy rails instead and NIghtforce low rings.

Fierce do indeed used Remington bases, the older ones use 6-48 screws and the new ones use 8-40. One piece Talley LW for Remington 700 will overhang a bit into the action if you have the ring facing forward, not ideal but it will work in a pinch. Talley also makes a ring specifically for fierce with a shorter rear base to fix this. Hole spacing is the same and designed to use rem 700 rails and bases.
