Went on the Kings camo site and if you select the package deal on they're packable rain gear it is on special for 79.99 BUT when you add it to the cart, it takes another 20 off so it's $60 for the set!

Just thought I would pass it along. Cabelas sell the stuff also but it's $170 for the set.

Anyone that's tried Kings Camo, how is the fit and length? I normally wear either Large or XL Tall in t-shirts. The FL Uncompaghre in Large is my perfect size.

They're sizing is pretty spot on. I wear a large and they're stuff fits great. It's not baggy at all. Doubt you'll find any reviews as its brand new. Mine shipped this morning, I got multiple sets for myself and buddies as pack rain gear for the times we don't think we will need it but don't want to be without some.

Is this the "plastic"-like stuff, or what is the outer material like?

I need some decent rain gear, and this is way cheaper than most..

FWIW Cabelas Space Rain comes with a lifetime warranty which is pretty clutch considering this thin of rain gear is inevitably going to get a tear or rip.

Cabelas did not honor a lifetime warranty on my cabelas brand gortex rain jacket. I was pretty disappointed.

Cabela's gave me a full refund on my Space Rain set over a year later. With that said, I hated it.
They told me that the jacket was too old to be covered under their lifetime warranty... Couldn't wrap my head around that one.

Are you a cat?

That's the misconception of a lifetime warranty: it is the life of the product, not your lifetime. If you read the Cabela's guarantee they actually say the life of the product. Therefore, they can decide whatever the life of the product is within reason. They also say "under normal wear and tear", which is up to their discretion as well. There are very few companies that truly honor lifetime warranties and the ones that do are marked up so high that even if they replace it 4 times they still haven't lost money. The prime example is the original Oakley sunglasses before they sold out. They were made in Mexico for I'm sure no more than $20 yet resold in the US for over $200, so no matter how many times you sent them in they would just send you a new pair.

Got my rain gear today, and I'm not sure I like it.

I was told by King's that it would have a slightly brushed outer fabric, so I assumed it was kinda like the Sylo, C4E, or Sitka Downpour stuff that I have looked at.

The outer fabric is more like "fishing" rain gear, and has a very slick face to it. The kind of material that when you drag your fingernails across it or you rub the fabric together, it makes that high pitched scratching noise. I'm just not sure its the best material to be wearing when you are hunting.

The fabric is very heavy, which is great for durability, so that's a plus I guess.
