I have always had a hard time sleeping when I camp. I am a side sleeper and my hips just ache even on a cot with pad. I have a decent cot and combined it with a thick pad from Kodiak and another from Springbar and a BA Q-core. They were ok but still a failed to have a comfortable sleep. I got a discount offer so decided to try the Helenox Cot One. I paired it with th Big Agnus Q Core pad. I just returned from a 5 day camp trip and had 5 painless nights. Not sure why but I did notice to seems to flex more than other cots. I also like to low profile. It should let me use in in the smaller 3P tent that would not accommodate a normal hight cot.

We run a helinox and a thermarest now. Both serve the purpose and have zero major issues.

Of note we have found:
1) Helinox better for smaller weight/length humans. Thermarest better taller/heavier humans.
2).Thermarest packs to a smaller size.
