seeing if anyone has had any experience with heated insoles for your boots. i tree stand hunt in PA and sometimes the temps are in the negative when i am pulling all day sits. i have a pair of Schnee's Extreme PAC boots but looking to put heated insoles in as well. i know a lot of talk on the thermacell heated insoles but i have no experience with any of them.

thanks!

I tried those electronic ones and IMO they suck. You're better off going with the chemical consumable adhesive ones. I don't stand hunt but you might consider some sort of puffy boot covers to add some insulative properties. Or maybe take your boots off and wear some down sock booties.

I had an uncle that used the heated insoles years ago. I don't think they held up or worked well but it was a long time ago. I grew up and hunt in PA every year. If it is really cold, I use some type of boot blanket. I have a pair of wool over boots(Sleeping Indian) that I have used in Alberta when it was below 0 degrees and they worked well but I don't think they make them anymore. I know some guys that use cheap sleeping bags to cover their feet and legs. It doesn't take much to make a difference. You might look at Arctic Shield boot insulators.
