Hearing protection

Anyone use any. I have been bird hunting more this year and have noticed some ringing in my ears. I am 50 and know that my earring is not what it used to be so I want to protect what I got.

I looked at the walker silencers but for that price I would want to make sure they work well.

Some amplification would be nice. I have a buddy who got hearing aids and put them on an outdoor setting and said he could hear game for some great distances.

I just wear plugs. Ive tried some of the Peltor electric muffs and wasn't happy with them.
