Reposting after the holidays. Thought I could ride out COVID financially but income reduction and surgery for both kiddo and wife have me needing to reprioritize a bit. This rifle is catch and release from another member, originally posted over here with pics and original description. I bought from him in April, it went into the safe and with everything going on, I just haven't had time to focus on it so I've never shot it. The scope was sold in a separate sale.
Rifle is by Hells Canyon Armory with details as follows:
McMillan Game-scout stock with edge fill (27.5 oz after glass bed job)
Tikka Stainless action with bolt (27 oz before bolt fluting)
Seekins Brake (3.5oz)
HCA Carbon barrel 24'' (49.1 oz)
Trigger/Action screw (3.1 oz)
Tikka bottom metal (2.6oz)
20 MOA rail (1.9oz).
Rifle is left handed.
I don't have a precise way to weight it, but unscoped rifle is just a hair over 7 lbs. Trigger adjusted to 15oz. Oversized bolt knob and metal shroud. Kydex Cheek riser from Defensive Edge. Fluted bolt by LRI. Stock hydro dipped Kryptek and bolt cerakoted.
Also have Redding competition die set and micrometer seating die. I have small amount of fireformed brass (40-ish) as well as new, unfired Norma 25-06 that I will include with rifle.
Pics below are a mix of those from the original advert and my own to show a bit of finish wear on the wrist/palm swell of the stock. Rifle is in fantastic shape with ~250 down the tube. When this build package was still on the HCA website you were looking at $2750 + cost of donor + the wait + the extras.
$2750 plus shipping TYFFL is less than I paid for it.
