Hawkins Hunter DBM on S/A Origin?

Has anyone tried this combo?

I would be using the SA Magnum mags (7mm SAUM). It says on Zermatt's website the Origin can go to a max COAL of 2.980" w/ a DBM. I am considering going to a DBM setup instead of BDL on this build. It should open up some room for the COAL.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use a Hawkins Hunter DBM with my Origin chambered in 6 creedmoor with no issues. I don't recall the OAL of my cartridges off the top of my head but all the rounds I've used have fed without issue.

I'm sure you can go longer if need be. just have mill a notch in the feed ramp for the bullet tips to clear
its a common thing to do on Remington 700 actions. I did it on my 300wsm running a defiance anti action.
