I am toying with the idea of trying to run the Hawkins featherweight ring/base on my Sauer 100. They use rem 700 bases. Scope is a NF shv which has an extremely short mounting length of about 5.1 inches.
If anyone has these rings on a rifle with 700 base hole spacing, I’d be interested to see what the outside to outside ring spacing is. NF nxs 2-10 or shv 3-10 have the same tube so if anyone has run one of these scope with these rings in a 700 platform I’d be interested in hearing how it fit.
