Have you sold clothes and gear? If so, was it a positive experience?

Debating between donating to charity and selling some new items, never worn but without tags and well as some gear versus simply donating the items to charity. Includes the following unworn items but where I took tags off and packed them for various hunts:

Kryptek Kratos jacket XL
Kryptek Rogue glove XL
Kryptek Vellus pants XL
Kryptek Cadog jacket XL
Under Armour Scent Control fleece jacket XL
Under Armour Scent Control fleece pants XL
Sitka Incinerator bibs L
Kryptek Hyperion crew XL

And one used items

Kryptek Sherpa Hoodie XL (worn a handful of times)

Leupold BX3 Mojave Binos 12x50

I’ve not sold anything before and hesitate as I don’t have a lot of time to deal with it. Stuff is taking up space and I’ve already got too many items so these need to go. Just wondering how quick and easy it was to sell online and how reliable were the buyers. I’m inclined to just donate the items to charity and get a tax benefit. But I’m wondering about others’ experience.

Had great experiences selling on here. List at good price and it will move quickly. Don’t underestimate shipping cost though. Was surprised to see that it’s nearly $10 to send anything in a box across the country.

ETA: PayPal essentially makes buyer reliability a non issue. So long as you don’t do friends and family.

I've never had an issue across all sorts of forums for all types of gear and or guns.

I understand the limited time thing... but honestly with the time you put into this post, you could have simply added a price and put it in the classifieds. Check back once a day for any PMs or posts that say a guy will buy it. Then all you need is enough time to get the stuff to the post office/UPS/FedEx. Pretty minimal time if you have a place to ship nearby.

What pattern are the kryptek items? I may be interested in them. But i usually wear a L not XL. thanks

Specifically the Cadog jacket and hyperion Crew. dont think i can wear the other stuff.

I've bought and sold a lot of stuff here and other forums. No bad experiences. If you don't have a lot of time then may be better off just donating. Some people will start to get testy if you don't check and return pm's a few times a day.
