For sure. I've been wanting this exact thing for years. And I'd guess Gerber will follow suit eventually.

This seems a little off to me. A multi-tool and a havalon knife are used for totally different types of tasks. If I need my multi-tool with a small utility knife, I get my multi-tool out of my bag. If I am boning and caping an animal for packing, I have the havalon. I wouldn't want that much chit in my hand when I am trying to cut up an animal in the field. I appreciate the simplicity of the havalon Edge.

Thats the beauty of it. Two tasks no longer need 2 tools. I always carried 2 knives and didnt want to carry my multi-tool because of the weight/space. Now I can just carry my other knife and this can replace my Havalon that was only good for one task.

I'll have to look into the handy-dandy blade remover since I didn't know they had one. Also, I don't see the point of this for breaking down game only. It seems like it just provides you a lot more places to get fat and blood stuck in.

They should sell a gut hook blade. If you could get a pack in a good plastic case it would be slick to snap one on and use it then switch back to the blade and put the gut hook blade in its plastic container. I would buy it.

Muley Fever they are coming out with one this year and a blade holder. At least that is what one of the videos I watched said.

I don't like it..i agree with others about the fat and blood getting up into everything. Id rather have the havalon and just carry the multi tool separately. two different tools with two different purposes.

I like the idea of a small plastic case for used blades, but I don't see myself using this multi-tool.

It would be interesting to see how that blade remover in the video works when it is cold and wet and the Havalon blade has animal fascia/silver skin stuffed in all around the edges of the blade. I use my Leatherman Style PS from my medical kit to remove the blades...but even with that it is not always easy when the Havalon is really dirty & wet.

I agree with others on the fact that I am not sure I want a skinning/caping knife wrapped into a multitool. I loved the idea at first, but might just be better off with piranta and my skeletool
