Planning a 2 week trip to Greece later this year and during some research I found out native boar hunting is a thing there. There isn't much info online so hoping someone here has done it before and would be able to point me in the right direction.

I should add that I'm not looking to necessarily DIY and won't be travelling with my own weapons so an outfitter would be the plan.

I haven't, but would look forward to seeing your hunt report when you're done.

First thing I thought of when I read the thread title:

I can’t help you too much but my brother in law is a priest and grew up on a monastery in Greece (Mount Athos). According to him they (the monks) hunted boar by running them down and hitting them with their truck 😂 I think there is a season, I’d look to central/northern Greece, but hunting Corfu would be cool, gorgeous area.
There is an Ibex species, kri kri, you can hunt on Crete.
