Hello everyone, just a quick question, I have had a Hamskea Epsilon for about 3 months, I’ve noticed that I’m getting a lot of wear on the launcher . Arrows are flying pretty good. Is this something to be concerned about?

Pretty normal with them. Seems to wear initially taking the edges down, but then doesn't continue. Probably gets down to the metal and stops.

The launchers on my rests appear to be a slightly different design but I’ve got a Trinity Hunter Pro that I applied the stick on felt on the launcher too. I’ve been shooting that same launcher and felt for 4-5 years and it’s still in good shape with little wear. I’ve also shot the Hunter Pro rests for thousands of shots on two previous bows with the felt on the launchers and never had much wear.

Maybe try some felt or call Hamskea and discuss other solutions with them. Could be a rest timing issue or something else. There‘s a great thread on here from Hamskea regarding timing and a search should turn that up.

What is that residue on your launcher? It may be nothing, but looks like you may be getting fletching contact.

Had the same issue with my Trinity rest, I swapped the launcher with their G-FLEX version and it seems to be much more durable with no signs of wear.

Mine wore down like that very quickly as well, first one I’ve had so don’t know if it’s normal. It’s shooting well but I do have to tighten the launcher cord every few weeks, not sure if that’s normal?

Clean it off and see if it reappears. If so, you have some work to do on your rest/timing.
Yeah they’re still touching barely on the felt . I put that on there to see how it would affect it . So do I move the tie down closer to the cam or away to have the launcher drop faster?

Wish I could tell you. But what I CAN tell you is there is an awesome Hamskea rest timing tutorial on this forum that you should be able to find through the search function. It was posted by one of their employees who is a contributor and who may be able to help you out. Good luck!

Closer to cam leaves the launcher up longer, further away from cam and the rest starts to fall sooner.

Lipstick on the outer edges of your vanes is a good way to find or detect contact.
