Hey guys been learning a lot of great stuff reading all the great content here, quick problem i was hoping i could get some advice for. My halon 32 is being a real turd trying to tune.. Ive got a bad knock left tear on my bare shaft. bare shaft hits a good 6 inches right at 20 yards. I first tried everything i could with the rest and nothing helped, so I'm back to center shot on my rest. next i put it in the press and tried swapping out the top top hats, still nothing, swapped the bottoms next and still same bad tear with the bare arrow hitting far right knock left. i can still shoot my z7 bare shaft bullet holes so I'm guessing its probably not my form. Its a 28/70 with deep six fmj 340's. i want to take the new bow out for opening day here in Iowa tomorrow but I've beeb chasing this for 3 days and its looking like the Z7 is gonna be it for now because my patience is about gone. Open to any ideas or suggestions. thanks!

There are several different sizes of the top hat spacers. Contact your dealer to get a complete set. You may not have the correct combination for your setup/form for good results.
That said you need to have the thicker spacer on the right side( assuming this is a right hand Bow) for a nock left if you don’t already have it that way.

i do have the thicker spacer on the right side top and bottom.. ill have to get a set coming then, thanks for the heads up

I had same problem and realized the draw was too long making my drawing elbow come too far back and no longer in alignment with arrow. Shortened draw length and paid attention to elbow alignment and bare shafts tuned much better. Just a thought.

i might mess around with that.. i did read where mathews tend to run longer than advertised

I just worked on both of my bows...defiant and Matthews dxt. I got the defiant all tuned in but couldn't get my Matthews for some reason. Finally found somebody knowledgeable and turned out the grip they had on it basically made bad form in your wrist. Put A new grip on and adjusted how I was actually gripping it and the old girl was throwing bare shafts like darts at 20 yards. I couldn't believe it... just another thing to keep in mind. good luck.
