Gunwerks switching scopes

Noticed that Gunweks is using the Mark 5 now on their complete scopes.
Anyone have some true intel as to the decision to switch?
I have my speculations but their only theories.

It’s a business. They likely found it met their performance criteria while being more profitable.

that’s exactly what I was thinking. I’m guessing they get a great deal on those leupold scopes which allows them to make a profit while leupold gets to associate themselves with gunwerks while making bulk sales to them.

That’s just one of the options. They offer a variety of scopes on their packages as well as their Revic brand scope...my dream scope lol
