Gunwerks Nexus 6.5 PRC Rifle Ongoing Review

Yes, I have most of this review done it take its twists and turns. Trying to review it with Gunwerks suppressor, the recalls are killing it.

Gunwerks updated my nexus with a new bolt shroud a couple weeks ago for free. They emailed me a shipping label with 2 weeks turn around! Excellent customer service! Safety is buttery smooth. I started with the 6.5 prc and ended up getting a 7prc barrel which also shoots lights out. I do handload the 180 Eldms to get the best accuracy!

They painted an entirely new stock for me when I had bottom metal issues and then resolved the bolt issues all for free. I have zero complaints!

What were the bolt issues? Was it your gun specifically, or part of the action problems that have been mentioned elsewhere?

Keep in mind mine was one of the first to leave their facility that went to a dealer. (W/ the green halo paint job) Serial number below 20. The bottom metal had a gap between it and the stock. It had always been like that and finally I got sick of it and Aaron had me DM me and send it in. When they got it they replaced the bolt and shroud I think without me even mentioning it. The original design had an aluminum shroud that caused finish issues and no clue about the bolt except that it had a heavy lift and supposedly that’s fixed too but it was fine before. It’s basically brand new now.
