GunBearer with Aux

So, looking at the pack setup, I was thinking about getting both the regular gun bearer, and the aux (for packing). Anyone have this setup and can discuss how it works? Thanks!

It seems to me, you could install the male/female clips on the pack, install the traditional gun bearer quick release on the shoulder pad, and then have it universal for packing or hunting by moving the butt stock holder to the upper or lower set of PALS webbing depending on the situation. Because If I'm packing a heavy load, I'd rather not have my gun under my arm like that. But maybe that's just me...
