I've currently got a garmin rino 530 that was purchased for an elk hunt. I've only used it a few times, and decided that it's more than I need. I just want something that's easy to use, reliable, and will get me from point A to B. A unit that uses AA batteries with a good screen size is a plus.

What are you guys using out in the field?

I have a garmin eTrex 20 with the OnxMaps chip. Nice unit. I got about 29 hours of battery life out of it last weekend when backpacking in the Bob using regular old Costco AA's.
