...so of course I had to build some arrows too.
By "her" I mean my daughter. Mom's go-to is a muzzleloader but my first born has followed me down the recurve path. She's been shooting stick bows since she could pick one up but now, at 21 and with her degree almost finished, she's taken it back up in earnest and was making noises about getting a hunting weight legal bow. Here that means #40 within an archers draw. 45# is just a touch too much so when I was at Cabelas a few weeks before Christmas I shot one of the PSE mustangs- shot nicely for the price point so I picked one up in 40#.
Best look ever on her face Christmas morning.
Will probably end up shooting carbons but i the mean time I would rather she lost the wood ones in the back yard.
Slapped a seal hair rest on the shelf and we're away!
