Got condensation in the eyepiece on my new Vortex RZR 65MM Spotting Scope

Today is opening day for mule deer in my region of Wyoming. Got rained on and my new spotting scope now has condensation in the eyepiece. Vortex is closed for the weekend. Is there anything I can do to fix this on my own?

I put the eyepiece in a 1 gal ziplock bag with four packets of "Boil in a Bag rice". After 48 hours the condensation was gone. I did call Vortex to see about getting it repaired. Since I was in the middle of a hunt they sent a new spotter over night.
