Long story short, I sent a knife into kershaw for a new blade that one of my best friends had gotten me before a deployment in 2009. I had my credit card info on a form I sent in with the knife. Before they got it processed I had to cancel that card and get a new one due to fraud. I called them today and they said they pushed it through and are repairing the knife anyway, no charge for blade replacement or shipping. I was pleasantly surprised, sounds like they are good people. I just wanted to get some publicity out there for them since they did me a solid.

I happened to be in Portland the weekend the weekend after Thanksgiving. If you are ever there, they have a factory seconds sale, clearance, discontinued. I went to get a new knife, came out with a grocery bag full! The little scallions were like $10, leeks $20, zero tolerance $250 knives were $65. I handed out the scallions for stocking stuffers, people were thrilled. Awesome sale, sweet knives.
