Sportsmen, Gun Owners Generated a Record $1.5 Billion in Conservation Funding Last Year

The Department of the Interior announced this month that sportsmen and women generated a record amount of funding in 2021. So did gun owners.

Keep in mind that most of this money comes from firearms and ammo of which the majority of people that buy guns don't hunt. All of those new glocks, ARs and cases of 5.56 that everyone panic bought is where the bulk of the money came from.

Pretty crazy sales for 20-21. Does anyone know the criteria used for re-allocation to the states? Would be good to know how much the Fed keeps for their management from that total.
