Gold Tip Hunter Pro vs a Scheels house brand arrow. Researching on here it seems that Victory is the one making arrows for Scheels. I know a guy who is very happy with Victory TKO Elites, but they carry a hefty price tag. I'm considering trying a house brand of arrow if they are truly made by the same companies.

Any experiences? Maybe the Scheels Vendetta Pro?

Depends on what you want. If you are new to archery and learning, get the scheels labeled arrow. Shoot them, break them and get your learning curve going. The GT is a better arrow and extremely durable but not necessarily what you need or want. All three work fine. It’s more of how they work for you.

Scheels Vendettas are Victory VForce arrows with a different label. The standard Vendetta is the same straightness grade as a VForce V6 (+/- .006”). The “Pro” version of the Vendetta is equivalent to a VForce V3 (+/- .003” straightness). The VForce/Vendetta is a great arrow.

GT Hunters are also great arrows, and also have their own rebranded box store clones (Bass Pro Blackout X1, X3, X5).

Vforce is a standard diameter arrow as well vs the 5mm RIP TKO. You can get cheaper RIP TKO if you buy the Gamer or Sport versions if you want that arrow. A lot of them hit the classifieds as well. It could end up same price or cheaper than the Scheels, depending on price. Granted the classifieds don't always have the arrow you want with components when you want them.

I'm not new to archery, I'm just ready for a change. I've been shooting the Easton Axis for probably 5 years and wanting to change again. I was just surprised at how much arrow prices have increased for top tier arrows, so I was exploring budget options if they are truly comparable.

I checked out the Scheels Vendetta arrows today and I do think I want to try a smaller diameter arrow than those. So I may need to rethink my options. I did like the looks of the VAP TKO Elites, but I'm just not sure it's worth $230/dozen or whatever they are.

If you go with Victory whether it's the 4mm VAP or the 5mm RIP get the Gamers. You can get them on Podium Archer for 189 with code MFJJ.

Don't nock the classifieds either. I've seen both VAP and RIP TKO's go for $150 or less. I think there is a gamer/sport VAP TKO that's been posted for awhile.

If you wanna shoot standard 6.5 arrows victory force tko’s are tougher than gold tip hunters which I thought couldn’t be beat for durability. If I ever go back to standard arrows again I’ll purchase the v force tko especially being that I have 10 keftout the 12 I purchased and shot 3-d and practice with 3 years ago. I wore the labels off but man they just take abuse and the v1 is great arrow but the v3’ shoot tight within out to 80 yards
