Gold Tip Ballistic Collar?

Has anybody tried these out? I have a half dozen arrows I was going to try them out on. Wondering what other people's thoughts were.

I've got them on my kinetics.. Definitely add strength and rigidity to the outsert and increase FOC.

I've got some Kinetic Kaos 300's enroute with the collars, etc. so we'll see how they work out. I shoot 5 to 6 times a week so it should become evident how good they are pretty quickly.

Generally not a fan of outserts. However, I was told from an inside source I might like these. I have some 340's coming so we will see how they hold up.

Could a guy run HIT inserts and then the collar over the end?

I use HIT brass inserts in my kinetics to get added weight

Im all over these too, either adding GT weights to make 50 grains with the insert, or using the HITs with the collar. I think (hope) they are going to work great.

I've been arrow spine testing the kaos with the ballistic collar on and a HIT insert. I like it, less wear on the front of my shaft and a little extra weight up front. They're compatible with a 5/16 field point. Just make sure you set your HIT inserts with the collar on for proper depth.

What diameter field point flushes out with the Ballistic Collar?
I am going to give these a try this year as my Injexions don't have a strong enough spine for the new Nitrium Turbo.

Ordered a couple dozen for a customer of mine that had to hit the minimum for a Newfoundland Musk-Ox hunt, 525 gr minimum. He's been very happy with em and I've been tempted myself to try shooting some this year. They look like a stellar shaft and tough insert/collar combo. The field pt diameter to flush them up with the shaft is 5/16.

I don't see why they wouldn't work as long as your arrow is long enough so you don't have an issue with the collar contacting your rest. I could be wrong though.
