Going to Colorado G15 for a Nanny

Ya I just opened the mail. :)

I've hiked in that unit a few times, mostly on the southern side. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has been there. I also anticipate several backpack scouting/fishing trips up there this summer. :)

Nice - I had been putting in for that tag but switched my plan up this year. Been in the area a few time but not much help for the specifics. Let me know if you want some company on any of those scouting trips.

Thanks. I think it's going to be a tough unit, physically for starters, but also finding goats. I know how Parks & Wildlife has tried to manage it the unit, so I'm just looking for an adventure up there.

Congrats on the tag! Which season did you draw? I've spent a bit of time in that unit. Although there aren't a whole lot of goats in the unit I have always found goats so it is a matter of putting on the miles and finding them. Some areas may be tougher to access during the later seasons if there is much snow but their coats will obviously look nicer the later you are willing to wait.
