We should send as many of those guys as we can to Idaho.
I know... can’t fathom how they managed that, but good on them. They nearly doubled the quota!I saw that. Looked like a target rich area to hunt if they killed that many over in less than 48 hours.
Slayed em, huge abundance of wolves here. And the boys were ready..I saw that. Looked like a target rich area to hunt if they killed that many over in less than 48 hours.
Hunting/trapping in the Rockies might be a little more challenging. .......Wisconsin wolf season closes early

I agree with the making it more difficult going forward, but how is that the hunters fault.Blowing past the quota makes both the dept and hunters look like stumbling idiots. Terrible optics and inexcusable in a situation with that much riding on its sucess. It will make it all the more difficult going forward.
Plenty of indications that kills were being reported as late as possible dto prevent the quotas from being tallied and season shut down after it was filled.I agree with the making it more difficult going forward, but how is that the hunters fault.
Thats not saying alot .....The meat eater folks thought this was just terrible. Carnage! The audacity!

The lawsuits were being filed before the hunt even began. Kudos to the people who did the DNRs job of managing the resourceI would agree, I think the wolf season is going to be a "one & done" for Wi, lawsuits filed in 3,2,1......
