Seems that the super moderator might as well be a democrat/progressive/socialist. Maybe even work for Twitter/Facebook or MSNBC. Currently politics may have a very important impact on shooting. hunting and gun ownership. Being a smart ass is not what I am doing.

Bottom line from where I sit: There is no shortage of places on the internet for you talk politics. There is only one place on the internet where serious hunters can talk and share their hunting-related adventures without having to worry about a bunch of political nonsense. I applaud the moderators for their strict adherence to keeping this site focused on hunting.

Interesting, another one. Funny in a way that you feel just anywhere on the internet includes hunters, gun owners, and shooters all with the same hope, to retain the right to pursue those interests. Insane really.

...and you wonder why political threads get locked quickly.
Well the facts are this is exactly the behavior of the mainstream media and social networks. Is the first amendment political in your mind? It should not be. How does the printed word effect you? Are we not grown up enough to speak freely without moderation? How exactly is it a hunting/shooting site aligns itself with Twitter and Facebook? Or CNN? Did this site contribute to Biden's campaign by not allowing political speech? How about the second amendment? Are our constitutional rights and the discussion of them purely political?

Sounds like a good opportunity for you to start your own forum...

Its a private forum, owned by private individuals. They can determine what they will allow and wont allow. You have no first amendment here.

The printed word does not affect me in any way when it comes from random strangers on the internet.

We are grown up enough to speak freely with out moderation...when its a public place. This is not a public forum. You are the one that immediately started labeling people when they disagree with you, doesnt really show how "grown up" you are.

It "aligns" itself with Twitter, Facebook and CNN in the fact that they are private and get to determine what is allowed on their forums and is not.

Did this site contribute to Trumps campaign by not allowing political speech?

What about the second amendment? How does that have anything to do with anything that is being discussed here?

Seriously dude, political threads are allowed here. There is literally one on the the ballot initiative in Colorado for wolf management. About as political as it gets. They aren't allowed when it doesn't have a purpose because they turn into a shit show. You have literally proven why they arent allowed in less than 10 posts in this thread. If you dont like it, log out and move on.

Good Lord. There are literally a thousand forums you can go talk politics on. A lot of them are complete trash. Go talk politics there. You will get the same information you would get here.

I am all for not letting politics here. Let's not ruin this site for everyone because you want to talk politics.

If there is a subject directly dealing with hunting/shooting/guns there won't be an issue. Anything like "Biden is taking all our guns" is nothing but click-bait and should not be allowed.

Talking politics on Rokslide is like talking to yourself for the most part.

We lockup or delete 95% of them because people can't seem to use their words.

Hunttalk or AR15 would love to have you, go over there and change some minds.

It’s happening. I have seen a lot of hate spewed in recent days about a man who is a constant winner and overachiever, and that's what the people who support him like about him. Yes, he's been caught in some lies and maybe twisted the truth a little but he's still out there proving his haters wrong time after time. Some people are just jealous of someone who is successful and has money. Throw in a hot foreign underwear model at his side and they hate him even more. You may not have wanted him in his role, but he's there now and there's nothing you can do about it. I know it’s possibly just going to get worse over the next several days, but like him or not, Brady is turning things around in Tampa.

Your lack of support for free speech duly noted.
