Ok guys went camping and hunting for the first time and I'm hooked. I have been looking for gear and getting prepared. Need help with gear on what I need. To go on a 1-3 day hunt in Missouri and Texas

Start with a jacked up pickup with big ol muddin tires, a trailer and an atv to get around with. You'll want every single piece of First Lite, Sitka, and Kuiu piece of clothing you can get your hands on. At least 2 or 15 guns, a new bow, top of the line binoculars, new boots, fancy huntin stickers to slap on your coolers and gun cases, rangefinder, trekking poles, gaiters and a big ol Bone Collector decal for the back of your pickup. Most importantly, you'll want to become "prostaff" with every single hunting brand imaginable and post about it on your Facebook account.

All jokes aside, this is a bit of an open ended question. All you REALLY need to go hunt, is a tag, and a legal weapon. Tell us about what you plan on hunting.

Are you camping on these hunts? Spot and stalk or still/blind hunting? What time of year? Expected weather? DIY or Outfitter?

So many variables.

We are camping on the hunts also November December January July. Next one will be a stalking hunt

Tent, sleeping bag, cot or air mattress, cook set up, heat for cold weather, coolers for game, etc. Truck camping is way different than backpack hunts and requires different gear. Narrow down how you will be hunting/camping and the time of year to get more precise recommendations.

Where at in Texas? It’s a big state and has some extreme weather both hot and cold depending on where you are in the state? You’ll burn up down south and freeze to death out west in the panhandle.
