Gaters for ticks on Sitka pants?

Looking to buy new Sitka Equinox pants... Can get them with or without the gaters for ticks/chiggers/etc. I'm gonna be saddle hunting pretty much all year. Was curious, do I go the way the insect defense ones or just get the regular ones for now and wear compression pants underneath if needed for now?

Permethrin is your friend. Ticks chiggers mosquitoes you will be good to go.
