I'm not at all familiar with Mac's but I do know that you can use Basecamp on a Mac and therefore, I would assume it would work since that is the intended purpose of Basecamp. All you have to do is leave the sd card in your gps and connect your gps to your Mac. I hope this helps...best bet is to call Garmin if you aren't sure.
