This Fall, have others experienced a longer lag time when messaging Inreach to Inreach? During elk season, average was 40 minutes. But when we were messaging our wives(Inreach to cellular) that would drop to 2-10 min.

What gives? Are there getting to be more devices operating and bogging down the system!?

The lag could be due in part to the listen interval on the inReach. The interval can be adjusted from continuous to 20 minutes on an Explorer+. On a Mini, I believe the automatic listen interval is fixed at 60 minutes. Both models can be manually prompted to check for messages in between automatic listens.
