Garmin Fenix 7s

Wife says I get one for Christmas. I'm a big strava nut for running, biking, and hiking. I'm also an Android and inReach user. How does the Fenix integrate with hunting, particularly back country mulie and elk? I shoot/hunt semi long range and typically use Strelok pro for ballistics.

The garmin connect app integrates well with Strava so as you log your workouts on the garmin app they’ll automatically go over to Strava. I like the garmin app more for looking at the data rather than Strava. If I’m going to do a run or hike in an area I’ve never been you can use the garmin explore app or a few other websites that allow you to create a gpx file to put on your watch. I have the garmin enduro which doesn’t have the ability to load background maps but with the fenix 7 you’ll be able to do that and then overlay the gpx route over them.
