Hello, longtime lurker and user of the “search” function here!

Got started catching crawdads and busting squirrels with a BB gun in central GA. Found my addictions in talking turkey during the spring and bow hunting whitetail in the fall.

I now live at 9K feet above sea level in the Colorado Rockies. Unfortunately, I have to drive two hours to find a turkey (I did 100 miles from my house to the NF gate yesterday morning) but I’m hoping my access to elk and mule deer from home will help me get over it .

Lord willing, I’ll get my first chance to test my grit during the upcoming archery elk season.
