I got lucky in the random yesterday, so I will burn most of my PTO in western WY this summer and fall!

I burned my deer points there in 2022 and I also helped a buddy in 2020 with his tag. I'm fortunate to have already spent 20-25 days there so I know my area pretty well. I'll scout once or twice this summer to see what's attainable after that brutal winter. I'm certain that it won't be nearly as good as it was in 20' and 22' when I was last there (it was killer!). Both of those years we were seeing 20+ bucks a day, sifting through 4x4's trying to find something solid.

I've heard last year was slightly better than 23', so that's exciting. Regardless I will have an absolute blast scouting, shooting and getting the mules in shape. But for anyone that hunted in 23' or 24', how was it? Bleak? Mediocre?
