I don't know if every store will get these, but for those interested, Costco has Canadian Made 100% Merino tops and bottoms for $19.99 each. I bought a few tops last year. They are very nice and have held up well. Great value!

I sure hope I can get the Canadian made merino stuff in a Canadian costco. (Sounds stupid, but I feel my odds are slim). If I can though, big jackpot.

Buster,

Is that a shirt or a sweater in your photo?

I have one of Costco's "merino blends"... It takes a little looking to find the blend ratios, but it's something like 6 or 7% wool! They are still nice shirts for the money, but calling them "merino blends" is borderline, IMO. :)

Long sleeve V neck shirt. (Not fond of V neck, but price is right). Picture is a but blurry, but tag says 100% merino wool.

I thought it looked like a v-neck. We never had those here.

I was hoping you'd found some merino sweaters @ Costco... ;)

Canadian costco, well Surrey BC. Have not seen these in WA state costco's. $20 cant beat it. I would say its about a 200 weight, and 19-20ish micron.... Slight itch, and definately not an icebreaker 17

They also have the Paradox name brand, 11% merino blend with poly and elastane. Gets stinky quick

I was at Costco today looking for the 100% merino and they had them but not my size(all mediums). I did find this packable down jacket for $44. I thought that was pretty cheap so I had to buy it. I'll be trying it out next month. Hopefully it works well.

I bought a top at Costco last year where the packaging said it was merino wool, but when I got home and read the label I saw it was only 50%. The other was a synthetic fiber, which I figured would stink like hell and defeat the purpose for me buying it. So I returned it. I have enough synthetic base layers that will stink after a day of hiking. I'll need to see if they stock something different this year.

I got a Kirkland brand soft shell jacket today at Costco for 22$. It's quiet and wind proof. It will be perfect for ground blind hunting
